Since forming in 2009, Big Time Rush has been busy with a discography comprised of 3 studio albums, 3 extended plays, 10 singles, 21 music videos, 8 promotional singles and 23 other charted songs.

One of the most successful albums released was the 2012 soundtrack album, Big Time Movie Soundtrack for their film, “Big Time Movie”. This album peaked at #44 on the Billboard 200.

Studio Albums

The band’s first album, BTR was released on October 11, 2010. It peaked at #3 on the Billboard 200 and featured the single, “Boyfriend” that peaked at #72 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The album and song were both certified Gold in the US by the RIAA.

The band’s second studio album,Elevate, was released on November 21, 2011. It quickly found its mark with audiences peaking at #12 on the US Billboard 200, #2 on the US Kid Albums Billboard chart, and #4 on the US Soundtrack Albums Billboard chart. 

Finally, the band released their third studio album, 24/Seven on June 7, 2013. This album peaked at #4 on the Billboard 200 chart.

As of 2019, thanks in part to these albums, the band had sold over 5.8 million songs and albums in the US alone according to MRC Data.
